Back Bay Mission - Back Bay Mission, a community ministry of the United Church of Christ, serves the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the wider church community by faithful witness for social justice and compassionate service to the poor and marginalized. The church each year organizes a group of volunteers to go help the local community by helping them rebuild their community.

Re-Member South Dakota Service-Learning TripPine Ridge SD Home of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, the Pine Ridge Reservation is the second-largest reservation in the United States, with 11,000 sq. miles. Many years of extreme poverty, hopelessness, despair, desolation, suicide, alcohol and sexual abuse have destroyed the foundation of family and life of the Lakota on the reservations. In, 2010 a group volunteered their time and labor at Re-Member, learning more about the area and its peoples as well as working on projects to help the residents.

Souper Bowl Sunday - On Super Bowl Sunday, First Congregational Church-UCC joins the movement that is transforming Super Bowl weekend into the nation's largest youth-led weekend of giving and serving. Souper Bowl of Caring equips and mobilizes congregations, schools and businesses to positively impact their communities by collecting money or food on or near Super Bowl weekend. 100% of the collections are donated directly to the charity of each group's choice.
